TeleHealth

EB Psychotherapy has been monitoring the rapidly changing conditions of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). To continue to serve our community, we are providing psychological support virtually, through telehealth software. By offering telehealth services, not only can our current clients remain in treatment, but we can also be there for new clients—not just locally, but throughout the state of California—in a safe way.

What are telehealth services?

Telehealth services are sessions held online via HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platforms. Our clients can still see the faces and hear the voices of their peers and their therapists, in real time, creating an immersive therapeutic experience.

What are the benefits of Telehealth Services?

Telehealth services allow us to support our clients and their families during this difficult time by continuing to provide effective treatment for the issues that initially brought them to our program.

Covid-19 has impacted our lives tremendously, frequently exacerbating our symptoms, while leaving us feeling alone, due to the social distancing requirements that are in place for our safety. In cases like this, we can be flooded with negative feelings, such as depression, anxiety, feelings of hopelessness and powerlessness, or even increased frustration and anger.

By participating in online programming, we can address these issues as they arise, continue to move treatment goals forward, and keep our community grounded and connected.

Are there any risks to participating in telehealth services?

Telehealth services may not be a good fit for everyone. For reasons such as this, we initially complete an online intake to assess if this type of service is a good fit for you and if we determine that it is not, then we will refer you out to outside agencies.
